As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our team.Position OverviewThe Medical Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our physicians and ensuring high-quality patient care. This individual will assist with clinical procedures, handle patient inquiries, perform triage, and manage key administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTriage patient calls to determine urgency and appropriate next steps for careConduct patient intake, including medical history documentationAssist physicians with in-office procedures and patient carePerform Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)Provide clear and courteous communication with patients, families, and providersObtain prior authorizations for medications and proceduresComplete administrative tasks, including FMLA paperwork and medication requestsMaintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standardsQualificationsMinimum 1 year of experience in women's healthCurrent Medical Assistant certification requiredExperience with Epic preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication skills and a positive, professional demeanorCompensationCompetitive and commensurate with experience.
