Front Desk Receptionist

We are Expressions Chiropractic of Dallas, P.C. We have been operating in downtown Dallas since 2015. We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the chiropractic facility running smoothly so that we can improve the lives of thousands. Qualifications/Necessary Job Skills: Strong Customer Service and communication skills Experience taking payments and balancing ledger Experience verifying insurance, understanding it and communicating it effectively to patients Consistent Positive overall Demeanor: Friendly, Calm, people person, extroverted, Outgoing, with a heart to serve and happy personality (ready to make new friends and patients feel comfortable) Great problem-solving skills, a fast learner, can follow procedures accordingly, and have strong memorization skills Teachable/Coachable Able to work as a team member, takes initiative, and Independently without supervision! Strong multi-tasking skills and clerical skills. Highly organized and the ability to prioritize in a busy and fast paced environment (verifying insurance, balancing patient ledgers, answering emails, answering 2 phone lines, checking patients in/out, taking payments, scheduling while politely meeting patients’ needs) Prompt attention to detail (remedy any problem) Works with integrity and professionalism as a representative of the company Experience with Electronic Health Records EHR Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Has a basic understanding of chiropractic Punctual Reliable Experience with Personal Injury cases (third party, PIP, uninsured motorist) Familiarity with medical billing procedures and coding Responsibilities: Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner Answering all communications concerning patients: phone calls, emails, fax and ECHO Perform routine clinical tasks to support chiropractic staff Communicate with insurance companies and billing department for proper collection Verifying patient’s insurance plans for chiropractic care Accurate handling all financials including patient collections Escort patients to exam rooms Processing new and existing patients according to procedures Manage records and information according to HIPAA Plan and maintain work facilities Provide administrative assistance to owner Manage schedule and encourage and improve patient appointments Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, clinical statistics, deposits, etc.) Following Procedures Balances and Credits CT Front Desk: Checking In, Checking Out Taking payment managing ledger Daily Duties: Opening, Lunch, Closing and Tuesdays Day 1 New Patient: obtaining new patient forms, DL and insurance cards ect. Day 2 Review of Findings Deposits End of Month Meeting Insurance Verification and Communication to patients Payment Estimates Medicare Send and Receive Fax Parker CBI Personal Injury Records Re-Exams Schedule Screenings and other Marketing events for the office Tracking Stats Mail Recall Communication: Telephone, Email, and Echo Echo Portal downloading Forms Workers Compensation Coordination with billing department Job Type: Full-time Salary: $17.00-$18.00/hour Bonus Structure available Paid Parking Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Employee discount Paid time off Experience: Customer service: 2 years (Required) Insurance Verification: 2 years (Required) Schedule management: 2 years (Required) Location: Dallas, TX 75201 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
