You will have your travel and lodging arranged by our travel department and paid for in full.Provided Travel Expenses:Round-trip flightRental car and fuelMileage reimbursement (in lieu of flight and rental car)LodgingJob Responsibilities (Generalized):Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditionsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansOrder and interpret diagnostic testsPrescribe medications and manage chronic conditionsProvide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialtyCollaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated careDocument patient care accurately and thoroughlySkills:Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patientsProficiency in performing physical examinations and procedures relevant to their specialtyCritical thinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose and manage complex medical conditionsTime management skills to efficiently manage a patient workloadAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a healthcare teamEducation Requirements:Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NP specialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology, pediatrics)Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degree from an accredited programLicenses & Certifications:Active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in MontanaNational certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by a recognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy of Nurse Practitioners AANP )Active and unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in MontanaNational certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Experience:While specific requirements may vary, most locum APP positions prefer candidates with at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to their specialtyAdditional Notes:Locum tenens APP positions are temporary assignments, often lasting weeks or months, to address staffing shortages in hospitals, surgical centers or other healthcare facilitiesThese positions offer competitive pay and flexible schedules, allowing APPs to pursue diverse work environments and control their workload
