Supply Chain Intern - Production Planning

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Jefferson manufacturing team and mainly will be responsible for supporting our planning department.Essential DutiesParticipate in planning process for area of responsibility.Responsible for scheduling and releasing daily work.Support the seamless interaction of purchasing and materials management to resolve gaps between supply capabilities and production plans.Act as the day-to-day point of contact for operations to assist in the resolution of order promising situations, customer delivery difficulties and demand versus supply conflicts.Ensure planning capabilities support maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation through systems utilization and process improvements.Other duties as requestedMinimum QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree programPreferred QualificationsEnrolled in Bachelor’s Degree program (preferably Supply Chain, Operations or Business); Microsoft Office Suite proficient; Ability to travel occasionally to local facilities;
