Rock Solid Precast, founded in 2015, is a leading precast company based in Conroe, TX. With a focus on customer service, safety, and quality, Rock Solid produces over 100 standard products as well as custom designs. The company works closely with customers and consults with multiple P.E.’s to ensure technical requirements are met. ESTIMATORWe are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in a precast concrete manufacturing plant who will assist the Outside Sales team with all aspects of estimating, including quantity take-off and pricing of the civil scope on Commercial Construction projects (Private & Public) The Estimator will manage the preparation of civil estimates for these projects which will include sitework utilities such as: manholes, inlets/catch basins, safety end treatments, headwalls, etc.  Key Responsibilities Responsible for preparing and submitting quotes to our customers per plans and detailed specifications in a timely manner.Prepares and handles material take off at the beginning of projects and maintains upkeep throughout the duration of the project.Assists with bids for new contracts and supports the procurement activities of job specific material by requesting estimates, submittals, and lead time from multiple vendors.Utilizes strong customer service skills while managing multiple projects in various phases at a time.Serves as liaison between dispatch, Sales team, vendors, & customers.Works closely with the Outside Sales/Inside Sales team to prioritize and focus customer expectations.Prepares internal reports to illustrate the job progress and timelines.Act as a champion for RockSolid Precast productsOther duties as assigned by the management team.QualificationsMust be attentive, organized and be able to meet deadlinesProficient in reading construction plans and blueprints.One to three years of experience in a construction environment One to three years of experience in project managementSpanish speaking preferred, but not
