Full-Stack Software EngineerOur startup team at VIEWS is growing and hiring for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can shine on both the back-end and the front-end. Our application is full-stack Javascript (React.js, Node.js, AWS) but we also enjoy exploring new technologies. We would love to hire someone with opinions about new technologies and are always looking to upgrade/evolve our stack if it serves the business well.We are looking to build a world-class team of talented engineers passionate about solving real world problems.You are a creative problem solverYou are comfortable working on a small team with a rapid release cycleYou know the basics, starting with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patternsYou have 1+ years hands-on experience with web developmentYou have in-depth understanding of modern back-end and/or front-end frameworksYou are familiar with pragmatic engineering best practices such as continuous integration, iterative releases and configuration managementYou possess great communication skills and an eye for detailYou have a positive attitude and sense of humorYour skills might include React.js, Redux, Node.js, DevOps (plus), RESTful web services, multiple programming languages and paradigms, programming as a hobby, not only as a day job. You love coding, right? Academic CS background or related, TDD, Git / Github, open-source contributionsYou will design and ship code to be proud ofYou will work in a fast-paced yet laid-back environmentYou will collaborate with team members on solving complex problemsYou will enjoy lots of freedom and trust when working on tasks independently
