A successful candidate will have a genuine passion for the hospitality industry and an entrepreneurial spirit.ResponsibilitiesMust be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all timesEstablish and maintain good communication and teamwork with fellow colleagues and other departments within the hotelOffer guests an enjoyable experience that conforms to the company’s standards of excellence, professionalism and friendlinessMust be able to work full-time, including weekends (typical shift is 2:30PM-11PM)Patrol hotel property to ensure the safety of guests and employees and to protect all hotel assets.Answer house calls, assist guests and employees with respect to safety, security and hotel operationsRespond to all emergencies on property to include, but not limited to, fire, medical, severe weather and evacuationInitiate and follow-up all investigations of crimes committed against property and personsAssist ill and injured guests and employees, ensuring documentation and disposition of reportsInitiate investigations, write incidents and accident reports, monitor investigations to their timely conclusion and ensure appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors and employees, documenting all contactsWatch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around buildingConduct walk through observations of entire hotelPromote safe work practicesAnswer security telephone and safety hotline calls and respond in a timely manner based on priorityObserve the security monitors for any unusual activity and in the case of suspicious behavior report directly, via radio, to the supervisor on duty; report any alarms similarlyMaintain accurate records while performing basic office duties including, but not limited to, camera monitoring, shift activity logTake ownership of all service issues brought to your attention by guestsMaintain an increased awareness of safety issues throughout the hotelParticipate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requestedAdhere to all standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos and verbal instructionsBe familiar with all safety and emergency procedures including OSHA requirementsCompensation & BenefitsWe offer competitive wages and benefits while fostering a diverse and inclusive work experience.We thrive in being a diverse work environment.
