Dispatcher - Logistics Company Full-Time | 40+ Hours/Week | On-SiteOur company is launching a new high-performing delivery operation, and we are looking for an ambitious, driven Dispatcher to join our leadership track from Day 1.This is an entry-level role with plenty of growth potential. The Dispatcher will be trained to fully master both dispatching and delivering to ensure deep understanding.Role OverviewThe Dispatcher supports daily operations by coordinating drivers, monitoring routes in real time, managing communication, troubleshooting on-road issues, and ensuring safe, efficient delivery execution. This is a hands-on role requiring open availability across mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Dispatch & Driver SupportCoordinate daily delivery associate check-in/check-out, route assignment, and van allocationMonitor delivery routes in real time using routing toolsTrack safety compliance, delivery metrics, and route performance throughout the dayAssist drivers with on-road issues: navigation, package rescues, delays, accidents, or escalationsMaintain high level of communication with the team during dispatch windowsSupport shift changes, break tracking, and end-of-day closeoutOperational ExcellenceTroubleshoot issues quickly to minimize route delaysDocument daily performance metrics and contribute to operational improvement plansEnsure vans are deployed safely, fueled, and fleet concerns are reported immediatelyMaintain records, logs, and dispatch notes for operational reportingDelivery Associate Mastery (Required)Complete full DA training and pass certificationRun routes as needed for coverage, training, or operational understandingServe as an example of safe driving, customer obsession, and delivery standardsLeadership Track ResponsibilitiesAssist with onboarding, DA coaching, and performance feedbackHelp implement a culture of safety, accountability, and excellenceTake on increased responsibilities as the company grows (DA Manager, Ops Manager, etc.)Required QualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldValid driver's license with a clean driving recordOpen availability - mornings, evenings, weekends, holidaysComfortable working 40+ hours per weekStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to problem-solve quickly under pressureAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform delivery duties when neededPreferred but not required:Experience as a dispatcher, delivery driver, courier, rideshare driver, warehouse associate, or similarExperience in fast-paced, logistics, customer service, or operations environmentsGrowth OpportunitiesThis role is intentionally designed to grow with the company.
