Friendship Village of Dublin is now looking for a Diet Aide for our highly rated retirement community!As-Needed Hours Now Available!Essential DutiesProvide 5-star nutrition-focused meals for our amazing residents!Plating and portioning food in a safe manner (modified and therapeutic diets) in a fast paced --newly renovated dining room and making a difference in the lives of our residents.Building relationships with our wonderful residents!Working with a high quality, collaborative medical and culinary team.Sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order.Receives orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.Composing the meal tray / food in a timely mannerClears dishes from tables after meal serviceProvides consistently high levels of customer service for our residents and their guests, adapting to the needs and service level expectations associated with each dining location.Washes dishes and prepares the work station for the following mealMaintains safe and sanitary conditions in work areas.Exhibits acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.Completes all assigned cleaning tasks.QualificationsA desire to make a difference!Willingness to grow!High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.1 year of Dietary Aide or Serving experience preferred1 year cold food preparation experience preferred, hot food preparation not necessaryUnderstands the needs for today's seniors (vision, hearing and memory challenges)Enjoys multi-tasking and following specific health requirements in a caring, compassionate mannerWe will train you!Love your job!BenefitsFlexible schedules!Gain experience working in the medical field!Annual Pay Increases!Student tuition reimbursement, Scholarship opportunities to help you reach your career goals through continued education!Opportunities for career growth within FVD!Retirement Community JobsRetirement Community CareersEqual Opportunity Employer
