They are expected to develop and refine their barista skills, including espresso preparation, latte art, and proper brewing techniques, while continuously expanding their coffee knowledge. Baristas uphold Ascension Coffee’s standards by ensuring consistency and quality in every cup. This is an hourly position.What You'll DoSkillfully prepare specialty coffee, tea, and liquor beverages to Ascension standards.Deliver exceptional hospitality, ensuring the highest level of guest service.Maintain and troubleshoot coffee equipment, resolving basic issues.Continuously expand knowledge in specialty coffee, tea, alcohol, and hospitality.Receive and apply feedback effectively, demonstrating adaptability.Build strong interpersonal connections with team members of all skill levels.QualificationsSpecialty coffee experience is a plus.Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between locations.Availability for nights and weekends.Strong leadership, team-building, and problem-solving skills.Excellent organizational abilities and resourcefulness.Self-motivated with a willingness to take direction.Ability to stand for extended periods (~8 hours per shift)
