They work hard, are passionate about the company and their role, are enthusiastic collaborators with teammates, have high personal standards for excellence and accomplish important work. POSITION SUMMARY:As a Household Sales Associate at Nickey Kehoe, you will greet and assist clients with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional hospitality experience in line with the Nickey Kehoe mission. You will encourage client engagement with our merchandise by offering outstanding customer service, always sharing the stories behind our makers and artists, as well as providing insights into our NK Collection.In addition, you will quickly respond to client inquiries via email and support the sales process using our POS system. You will also assist with order processing and tracking as required. The Sales Associate is service-oriented, adaptable, courteous, and conscientious in their work, providing a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers.DUTIES INCLUDE:Greet and graciously assist clients with focused attention to creating a high-end customer experience sharing the stories of our makers and artistsFacilitate sales using our point-of-sale system and closing out sales orders on a daily basis.Restock merchandise on the showroom as necessaryWork with back of house to organize back stock and replenish packaging supplies Reply swiftly to client inquiries via email or phoneAssist Visual Merchandiser in the upkeep of the visual experience and merchandising in Household, ensuring fresh, tidy, organized, and photo-ready displays and vignettesEnsure that products leaving the store are safely packaged and gift wrappedOrganize gift wrapping material such as paper, ribbon, and ensure accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanlinessMaintain and practice general showroom maintenance Other projects and tasks as assigned by ManagerQUALIFICATIONS & KEY ATTRIBUTES:Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail environmentHigh-end customer service and the ability to remain graceful under pressureFamiliarity with POS and inventory tracking systemsExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenAptitude for multitasking and prioritizing tasks Ability to retain and communicate product knowledgeHighly self motivated and takes initiative to provide support to team membersInterest in product knowledge and research in the interior design industryFamiliarity with PC/Mac platforms and strong basic computer skillsExperience working with Interior Designers and Industry professionalsComfortable with dynamic environments and assisting in visual merchandising, packaging / handling product and activity-based servicesAs an Equal Opportunity Employer, it is our highest priority that no employee or applicant is discriminated against on the basis of race, color, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, citizenship, veteran status or any other characteristics protected by law. Upon request and consistent with applicable laws, Nickey Kehoe will provide reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities who need assistance in the application and hiring process.The annual salary range for this position is: $60,000- $75,000.
