Pursuit is growing in Philadelphia, and we're looking for a Business Development Officer who thrives on building relationships and expanding access to capital. This role is about creating opportunities—not just identifying them—and helping trusted partners and business owners connect with the resources they need to grow. You'll take the lead in cultivating a high-potential market, working alongside bankers, community organizations, attorneys, accountants, and other referral partners to promote Pursuit's mission and loan programs, especially the SBA 504 loan. Based in or near Philadelphia, PA and/ or Southern NJ with the ability to travel frequently across the region. What You'll DoHere's what success looks like in this role:Drive Business GrowthBuild and manage a dynamic referral network across Philadelphia—commercial bankers, CPAs, attorneys, real estate professionals, and nonprofit economic development partners.Champion the SBA 504 LoanPosition the SBA 504 loan as a powerful tool for business growth, educating partners and prospects on its value and unique structure.Represent Pursuit in the CommunityAttend and speak at events, host educational sessions, and engage in strategic partnerships to raise awareness of Pursuit's inclusive approach to lending.Collaborate for SuccessWork closely with our credit, operations, and closing teams to ensure a seamless experience from lead generation through loan closing.Stay Visible and AccessibleSpend time in the market—meeting face-to-face with partners and prospects across the region to build trust and deepen relationships. What You'll BringWe're looking for someone who brings strong relationship-building skills and a passion for helping businesses grow.
