As a Technical Associate, you will be responsible for the following:Operating, optimizing, and maintaining assigned production equipmentMeeting and exceeding production standards while maintaining product qualityMinimizing and preventing equipment downtime and sustaining budgeted waste levelsMaintaining accurate equipment logs and recording downtime and maintenance problemsPerforming preventative maintenance on equipmentStarting up equipment and ensuring accurate functioningMonitoring component inventories and safety guardsMaintaining a neat and orderly production environmentMonitoring in-process quality and addressing issues as neededPerforming required Q.C. checks and process challengesFollowing safety and environmental procedures and Quality System RequirementsSupporting upstream and downstream operationsPerforming rework as requiredWorking optimally in a team environmentAdditional responsibilities may include:Performing other duties as assigned by SupervisorQualificationsH.S. Diploma/G.E.D preferredMaintenance Repair/Mechanical Experience or Proficiency required and2 years mechanical experience preferred6- 12 months of manufacturing experience desiredWorking with PLC's, Hydraulics and Pneumatics desiredMust be proficient with basic hand tools.Familiar with the following mechanical components, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gearboxes, and ball valves.Should also be familiar with some electrical components: sensors, photo-eyes, scales, reed switches, VFD's.Able to work autonomously and be self-motivated.Able to work any shiftMust have clear and legible handwritingWhy Join Us?To find purpose in the possibilities, we need people who can see the bigger picture, who understand the human story that underpins everything we do.
