Job DescriptionDevOps & Cloud Infrastructure EngineerMiami, FL · Full-Time · OnsiteAbout MicrohubAt Microhub, we’re building the intelligent infrastructure that powers the future of urban logistics.We connect buildings, delivery networks, and people through technology that makes package management faster, safer, and more efficient.We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in AWS infrastructure, cloud architecture, production systems, reliability, and security.This role is ideal for someone who can understand an existing infrastructure, take ownership of it, troubleshoot complex production issues, and continuously improve its architecture as the company grows.What We’re Looking For3+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experienceStrong experience with AWS infrastructure and architectureHands-on experience with EC2, Auto Scaling, ALB, WAF, VPC, Route 53, IAM, S3, RDS, and CloudWatchStrong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skillsExperience with Apache and PHP production environmentsExperience with PostgreSQL/RDS and MongoDB AtlasStrong understanding of networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, WebSockets, load balancing, and securityExperience with monitoring, logging, alerting, backups, and disaster recoveryUnderstanding of high availability, scalability, performance, and cloud cost optimizationExperience with deployment strategies, CI/CD, rollback procedures, and production reliabilityGit/GitHub experienceAbility to analyze existing infrastructure, identify weaknesses, and recommend improvementsAbility to independently troubleshoot and resolve production incidentsStrong communication and documentation skillsComfortable working directly with developers when challenges involve both infrastructure and application codeAbility to take ownership of infrastructure-related challenges from investigation through resolutionNice to HaveAnsibleAWS X-RayFirebase / GCPExperience with network-connected hardwareExperience with WebSockets/TLS integrationsExperience with Zebra printers or similar hardware integrationsThe Profile We ValueWe’re looking for someone who combines hands-on DevOps experience with a strong infrastructure architecture mindset.You should be comfortable working with existing systems, understanding how they are built, identifying risks and bottlenecks, and making practical decisions to improve reliability, scalability, security, performance, and disaster recovery.We value ownership, technical judgment, problem-solving, and the ability to independently drive infrastructure improvements.Compensation & BenefitsAt Microhub, base pay is one part of a total compensation package designed for growth.We value skill, technical expertise, creativity, ownership, and potential — not just years of experience.Compensation will depend on your background, technical expertise, and overall fit for the role.Microhub’s benefits, compensation, and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other applicable terms.
