Job Title: Software Engineer III — Full Stack (Backend-Focused, Core Platform Services)Location: Irving, Texas, United StatesType: Full TimeOur Client is hiring a Software Engineer III (Backend‑Focused Full Stack) to build scalable core services, shared frameworks, and platform components that enable multiple teams to deliver high‑impact clinical applications.This role is backend-first, with most of the work focused on Java and Spring Boot, designing APIs, building event‑driven integrations, and developing reusable platform services. You’ll also contribute to React and TypeScript–based frontend integration layers to support end‑to‑end workflow validation.What You’ll DoDesign and build backend services and shared platform components using Java and Spring BootDevelop RESTful APIs with strong contracts, consistent error handling, and clear documentationBuild event‑driven integrations using KafkaWork with relational databases, caching, search, and analytics platformsContribute to shared libraries and services used by multiple domain teamsSupport full‑stack integration using React and TypeScriptWrite unit and integration tests and participate in code reviewsUse observability tools to support production troubleshooting and service reliabilityWhat We’re Looking For5–7 years of professional software development experience (backend‑heavy)Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and event‑driven systemsSolid understanding of SQL, ORM frameworks, and database performanceWorking knowledge of React and TypeScriptExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, and automated testingStrong communication and documentation skillsNice to HaveExperience with healthcare or clinical data standardsExperience building shared platform services or frameworksExposure to Docker, Elasticsearch, or analytics platformsAgile/Scrum experience in enterprise environments
