ResponsibilitiesLamination and processing of optical assemblies for prototypesHands on active alignment of optical modules used in AR devicesCareful hand assembly work and part processingRework of prototypes and components, both mechanically and electricallyOperating custom calibration and assembly equipmentWriting documentation and reports relating to assembly practices and opto-mechanical test dataMinimum QualificationsMechanical background and aptitude5+ years of experience in a related technical fieldBS in ME, optics or related technical fieldExperience in R&D lab for product developmentRapid prototyping (multi-disciplinary collection of skills)Laser safety experienceCalibration experience (camera based sensors)Experience authoring SOPs for assembly and testPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with clean room procedures and equipmentOptical metrology experiencePrior work in AR/VR or optical consumer products
