We are looking for the next member of our Allure family — someone who truly loves working with residents.ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plansMeasure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and weightRecord food and fluid intake and report changes in eating habitsAssist with lifting, turning, positioning, transferring, and transporting residentsProvide care to residents with mental health conditions, psychosocial needs, or history of traumaAssist non-diabetic residents with nail care (hands and feet) as permittedRoutinely check residents to ensure personal care needs are met per their wishesObserve and report skin changes, pressure areas, or breakdownsCollect specimens as instructed (urine, stool, sputum, etc.)Assist nursing staff with admissions, transfers, and dischargesQualificationsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Illinois)CPR certification requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to work independently with integrity and professionalismAbility to work effectively with residents, staff, and support agenciesPhysical RequirementsAbility to move intermittently throughout the workdayAbility to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and transport items up to 50 feetAbility to meet the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the positionReasonable accommodations may be madeEqual Opportunity EmployerAllure of Zion is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
