Anesthesiologist Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Burlington, Vermont

January-Ongoing Call Ratio/ScheduleA fast-paced level 1 trauma facility is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. Compact and beautiful, Burlington is home to a thriving arts scene, museums and educational opportunities, and great shopping! This role involves administering general anesthesia and performing various procedures such as intubation, IV placement, and spinal or epidural injections for post-operative pain management (excluding OB). Additionally, responsibilities include arterial line insertion, central line placement, pulmonary artery catheter insertion, and conducting diagnostic transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). Throughout these procedures, there are always faculty anesthesiologists and a Charge Anesthesiologist available to provide assistance.
