Financial Planning Analyst

Onsite 5 Days a week in Draper, UtahNo C to C or SponsorshipJob Title: Adaptive Solutions & Data AnalystJob Summary: The Adaptive Solutions & Data Analyst supports the design, development, and optimization of enterprise planning and execution models that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role is responsible for helping build, maintain, and enhance Adaptive planning solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and business performance across functional areas such as Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations. The analyst ensures solutions are well-architected, user-friendly, and aligned with evolving business needs.Key Responsibilities:Support the solution design and architecture of enterprise Adaptive planning models, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainabilityAssist in the development, configuration, and enhancement of planning models and related capabilitiesParticipate in user acceptance testing (UAT), validation, and deployment activities for new and updated solutionsMaintain and support high-performing Adaptive model environments, ensuring stability and usabilityCollaborate with business users and stakeholder groups to gather feedback and refine solution design decisionsIncorporate user needs into solution enhancements while balancing technical constraints and best practicesDevelop and maintain comprehensive model documentation, including design specifications and process flowsStay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in enterprise planning and analyticsRecommend and support improvements to planning architectures and processes across business domainsBuild and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and adoption of solutionsSupport cross-functional planning initiatives across Finance, Commercial, Supply Chain, HR, and related areasRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field2+ years of experience with Adaptive planning tools or similar enterprise planning systems2+ years of experience working with enterprise performance management or planning platforms such as Oracle Hyperion (HFM, Planning), Oracle Cloud EPM, SAP BPC, SAP IBP, SAP BI-IP, SAP SAC, or SAP CallidusStrong understanding of data architecture, system integration, and cross-platform data flowsKnowledge of end-to-end planning processes including budgeting, forecasting, execution, and trade promotion managementAdvanced Excel skills (including pivot tables and macros); familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plusStrong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skillsExperience working within a structured system implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, design, build, test, deploy), preferably AgilePreferred Skills:Experience supporting enterprise-wide planning or performance management solutionsAbility to translate business requirements into technical model designStrong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentDemonstrated ability to improve system usability and drive user adoption
