Description: The Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work packages are planned efficiently through initiation, organization, execution, control and closure for every aircraft visit with emphasis on quality and accuracy of the finished product. This position will have knowledge of the most accurate status of the aircraft for each assigned project.What you will be responsible for: Estimate customer supplied work packages and programs for individual skills. Determine cumulative program cost for labor hours by skill.Create work breakdown matrix for cost accounting to support the customer and AAR billing requirements and input into the MAJIC service order.Enter individual work cards into the MAJIC service order with the job description, estimated man-hour requirements by skill and any customer card references as necessary. Produce AAR required printed operations to be included in the work package. Print customer work packages with cover sheets and assemble.Provide a work package tally book for each aircraft.Develop aircraft master script in Excel listing all work cards to be completed by day for each C-check or above.Maintain an Excel master matrix for all customer task cards and script data.Maintain Excel history files of estimates versus actual amount on all programs to assist in future pricing.Ensure all work breakdown codes are priced and loaded correctly for the customer invoice.Monitor work packages for changes and revisions and capture additional cost of increases to the work scope. Coordinate with tooling and material departments as well as production on any new work scope being added to ensure minimum impact to the program.
