Lead Registered Nurse
Position SummaryA Family Support Coordinator acts as the primary contact for families in need of welfare, emotional guidance, or other support. Their job is to serve as a bridge between a family and any relevant support agencies. Their main goal is to reduce the time that families in trouble have to wait for care. Under direct supervision of the Program Manager, this role provides social service coordination to families in Cochise County with children age 0-5 years old, as well as information/referrals to support and assist parents with the tools to promote healthy child development in the early years of life. A Family Support Coordinator will provide comprehensive family services for a minimum of 90 days up to 120 days to support the families Protective Factor Framework and ensure the family thrives.Minimum Qualifications And CompetenciesEducation/Background:Meet one of the following criteria:Hold a master's or bachelor's degree in a field related to behavioral health.Be a registered nurse.Be a physician assistant not currently working as a medical practitioner.Hold a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of full-time behavioral health work experience.Hold an associate's degree and have at least two years of full-time behavioral health work experience.Possess a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma, along with post-high school education in a field related to behavioral health completed within the past four years. Additionally, have two years of full-time behavioral health work experience or four years of full-time behavioral health work experience.Be licensed as a practical nurse, according to A.R.S. Title 32, Chapter 15, with at least two years of full-time behavioral health work experience.Experience:Preferably have experience working in a residential setting.Licensure:Hold a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing.Medical Duties:Possess at least one year of experience performing medical duties.Supervisory/Management Experience:Have a minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience.Behavioral Health Knowledge:Demonstrate knowledge of behavioral health symptoms and diagnoses.Reliability and Responsibility: Must be responsible and reliable in fulfilling job duties.Crisis Management: Capable of dealing with crisis situations effectively.Professional Conduct: Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Outlook, and internet usage.Experience with documenting in electronic health records.Drug Test and Chemical Use Policy: Successfully pass a drug test upon hire and adhere to the organization's chemical use policy.Certifications and Clearances: Obtain or possess the following within 30 days of hire:CPR/First Aid Certification.CPI certification (Crisis Prevention Intervention).AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card.Current TB test.Bilingual Skills: Bilingual abilities are a plus.Driver's License and Insurance: Possess a valid Arizona Driver's license, vehicle insurance, and the ability to be covered under the organization's policy.
