Piping Designer

Position Summary:The Piping Designer will support the design and coordination of piping systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional mechanical projects. This role works closely with engineering, fabrication, and construction teams to develop accurate, constructible designs that align with project requirements and company standards.Responsibilities:Develop 2D and 3D piping layouts using Revit and/or AutoCAD for HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systemsAssist in the preparation of drawings, models, and construction documents for mechanical projectsCoordinate piping designs with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, electrical) to ensure clash-free installationsSupport fabrication and installation teams with detailed drawings and design updatesReview project specifications and incorporate design requirements into layoutsParticipate in project meetings and collaborate with project managers and engineersRequirements:Proficiency in Revit or AutoCADBasic understanding of mechanical systems and construction drawingsExperience with piping system design (e.g., chilled water, steam, medical gas, or process piping) preferredKnowledge of BIM coordination and 3D modeling workflows preferredFamiliarity with commercial or industrial mechanical construction projects preferred
