Millwork EstimatorLocation: Remote (LATAM Applicants Only)Schedule: 40 hrs per week (US Business Time)Compensation: $12/hr (~$2,400/month)Company OverviewOur client is a specialty fabrication company focused on solid wood and metal work for commercial and design-driven construction projects. The company produces architectural millwork, custom furniture, signage, and artwork for multi-family, retail, hospitality, and restaurant environments. Their work supports guest-facing areas, lobbies, amenity spaces, and other high-visibility project scopes.Position OverviewThe Millwork Estimator will review construction documents, interpret architectural drawings, and prepare accurate estimates for custom fabrication and construction-related scopes. This role requires someone who is highly detail-oriented, technically minded, and comfortable working through complex project information with speed and accuracy. The ideal candidate can manage bid opportunities, coordinate with vendors and customers, and support post-bid follow-up through strong communication and organized documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentsDetermine required methods, materials, finishes, and labor needed to execute project scopesIdentify bid opportunities across multiple channels and evaluate project fit based on company capabilitiesAccess virtual bid rooms and extract relevant documents for estimating reviewPrepare accurate cost sheets and pricing using Excel and other estimating toolsCompile, send, and track pre-bid RFIs to clarify scope and project requirementsSend RFQs to suppliers, track incoming estimates, and evaluate vendor pricingBuild and maintain organized bid files, estimate documentation, and project recordsCommunicate with national-level general contractors, vendors, and customers throughout the bidding processSupport negotiation and closing of post-bid opportunitiesReview contracts with a focus on verifying scope of work and ensuring estimate accuracyBuild long-term relationships with vendors and customers through clear, professional communicationQualificationsRequired QualificationsExperience in construction estimating, preferably with fabrication, millwork, architectural products, or related project scopes.Ability to read, understand, and evaluate architectural drawings and specifications.Experience accessing virtual bid rooms and extracting construction documentsExperience preparing cost sheets and pricing in Excel or other estimating programsExperience sending RFQs to suppliers and evaluating incoming estimatesAbility to compile, send, and track pre-bid RFIsExperience reviewing contracts with attention to scope of work verificationProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizationClient-centered attitude and ability to communicate factually in a technical environmentSelf-starting mindset with the ability to evaluate opportunities and manage bid activity independentlyFluent in English (C1/C2 level)Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Innergy ERPExperience estimating architectural millwork, custom furniture, signage, artwork, or specialty fabrication scopesExperience working with national-level general contractorsExperience negotiating and closing post-bid opportunitiesWork Environment & CompensationLocation: Remote (LATAM Applicants Only)Schedule: 40 hrs per week (US Business Time)Compensation: $12/hr (~$2,400/month)We look forward to reviewing your application.
