Sales Team Manager

NERUS Strategies, a leading player in the media advertising industry, is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Team Manager to lead and support our remote sales representatives. This role requires someone with a strong background in managing sales teams, specifically in a remote setting, and a deep understanding of media sales. The ideal candidate will drive performance, foster a positive team culture, and contribute to our ongoing business growth in the media and advertising space. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of remote sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals in the media industry. Recruit, onboard, train, and continually develop sales talent, ensuring each team member is equipped to succeed. Develop, implement, and refine sales strategies tailored to the evolving media landscape. Set clear sales targets and monitor individual and team performance regularly, conducting performance evaluations. Stay informed on media market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion. Use data-driven insights to optimize sales processes and outcomes. Collaborate closely with marketing, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional operations and an outstanding customer experience. Provide mentorship and guidance to sales team members, promoting professional growth and high performance in a remote work environment. Requirements Proven track record in sales management, preferably in the media or advertising industry, with experience managing remote teams. Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills, with the ability to foster a positive and high-performing remote team culture. Experience developing and executing effective sales strategies. Excellent time management, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to analyze market trends and competitors to inform sales tactics and strategies. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with budgeting, sales forecasting, and financial principles related to sales management. Previous experience managing media sales teams or similar roles within the industry is preferred.
