Join our global team of 19,000 people in 45 countries, and start helping our customers push the limits of what's possible in their world of motion.Position: Quality InspectorLocation: PT Tech – Wadsworth, OHJob Type: Full-timeShift: Day shiftWhat We OfferCompetitive PayComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage Benefits start on first day of employment401(k) retirement savings plan with generous company match10 paid holidays per year plus paid vacationPaid parental leave at one year of serviceEmployee discounts on products and servicesEducation expense reimbursement, eligible to apply on the first day of employment.Opportunities for professional development and career growthPosition SummaryA Quality Inspector performs an array of functions including but not limited to performing Quality and Engineering inspections of products and components.Essential ResponsibilitiesEnabling and disabling the inspection demands for incoming productsPerform dimensional, geometric, and cosmetic quality inspections with coordinate measuring systems, basic hand gauges, and ascertaining compliance to stated specificationsManage nonconformance discoveries and follow established processes for segregation, quarantine, reaction plan and final dispositionCoordinate with SQD to manage outside vendors and internal departments to resolve NCM issuesMonitor Supplier complaints and corrective actions to reduce NCMs and improve the PT Tech Business Quality Management System with SQD ProcessImprove the effectiveness of our process and quality objectivesComplete, utilize and train on required Quality Process training initiativesCreating, maintaining, and publishing Quality metrics and statistics to team conducting supplier evaluationsPerform Internal QMS Audits as a qualified AuditorSAP goods movement reconciliationsBasic QualificationsAssociate’s degreeProficient in Microsoft and SAP3+ years’ experience with inspection or quality auditingFamiliar with measurement software (CMM, Romer, etc.)Ability to read and understand technical drawings and engineering specificationsBasic Mathematical Skills required with focus on Manufacturing Statistical methodologiesMust be eligible to work in the USPreferred Qualifications & SkillsAbility to work independently and self-manage activities to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skillExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesAll qualified applicants shall be treated equally according to their individual qualifications, abilities, experiences and other employment standards.
