Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, independently or in collaboration with internal/external trades. Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety. Documents and maintains records of inspections and work performed pursuant to departmental policies and warranty/vendor requirements. Requisitions materials and supplies, maintaining inventory to ensure availability for maintenance tasks. Responds to emergency calls in a timely manner to address urgent maintenance issues. Coordinates with vendors and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration and completion of tasks. Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities and ensure proper procedures are followed. Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical issues, implementing effective solutions. Ensures compliance with safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to respond to emergency calls in a timely manner Ability to interpret blueprints and work from sketches or verbal instructions Able to communicate in English Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office General maintenance skills and willingness to learn new processes or skills Positive attitude Ability to utilize computers to document all assigned tasks Ability to follow instructions and learn in a fast-paced environment Self-starter, with the ability to work weekends and or call without supervision Ability to climb ladders or heights Ability to lift 50lbs or more Skilled background in maintenance [Preferred] Must have good aural and visual ability to observe operations of equipment to detect malfunctioning and to determine procedures for duties to which assignedEducation: High School/Equivalent grad OR 5+ years experience [Required]Field of Study: N/AWork Experience: 0+ of experience [Required]Additional Information: N/ALicenses and Certifications: Driver's License (DL) [Required]Pay Range: $20.21 $38.68
