B-Shift General Production Manager- Waterloo Pork Plant

REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience: 1 plus years' experience in a supervisory role. Two years employment at Tyson or equivalent experience preferred. Familiarity with processing floor operation is a plus; HACCP certification a plus understanding of basic HACCP principals and the ability to perform CCP monitoring verification; knowledge of fresh meats processing a plus.Physical Requirements: Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections; fixed ladders stairs steps etc. able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility; the temperature in most of the areas range from 28 - 45 degrees. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills. Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate with all levels of management. Special Skills: Team leader problem solving and motivation to take on special projects.Supervisory: Responsible for all Production Operations at the facility; includes managing all production supervisor's department production schedules product rotation CCP verification schedules and overseeing safety committee; includes responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop improve deficient areas. Travel: Some travel required as needed.
