Sr Fullstack Software Engineer

About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to architect, build, and operate scalable cloud-native applications. Partnering with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, you will deliver high-quality web experiences from concept to production while shaping technical direction across the team. This role pairs hands-on development with senior-level technical leadership and mentorship, leveraging modern DevOps practices to ship reliable software early and often.Please note: We can't work with third party employment organizations! What You’ll DoArchitect, develop, and operate full-stack cloud solutions in AWS using a serverless-first approach (React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Lambda).Build responsive UI interfaces with React, applying strong patterns for component composition and state management.Define and manage application infrastructure as code, primarily using Terraform.Maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes to support reliable, repeatable deployments.Lead the modernization of legacy systems by refactoring applications into cloud-native architectures.Take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from prototype through production and iteration.Partner with product and design teams to align engineering work with business goals and user needs.Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and champion strong engineering practices through code review and collaboration.What You BringAt least 8 years of full-stack development experience, including hands-on work with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, GitLab).8+ years of backend API development using object-oriented languages (Java, Go, or TypeScript/JavaScript).8+ years of web application experience with HTML, CSS, React, and Node.js.Strong command of AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, SQS, EventBridge).Experience with cloud databases (DynamoDB, Snowflake) and containerization (Docker, ECS/Fargate).Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Serverless Framework, or CloudFormation.Familiarity with event-driven and service-oriented architectures.Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions.Comfortable working in Agile environments with strong problem-solving and communication skills.EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.MMD Services Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
