Material Handler
MOO is seeking an efficient, driven and organized Material Handler to join the company’s Manufacturing team in East Providence. This role is a pivotal point for stock control and handling of goods ensuring the team are well stocked in their relevant consumables.This is an exciting opportunity in our East Providence location within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal hire must be efficient and organized to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Can streamline working processes to the role.Working closely with our small Warehouse Team supporting manufacturing and supply chain, and also in close physical proximity to the manufacturing and supply chain team in Dagenham.The successful candidate will report to Warehouse Management and work closely with the manufacturing team. This role is a pivotal point for stock control and handling of goods ensuring the team are well stocked in their relevant consumables. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player to join our warehouse operations. Ideally, this candidate can work well with others to meet team goals, but also stay focused and productive when working independently. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, especially when picking, handling, and tracking materials. You should be able to stay on task without constant supervision and take initiative to keep operations running smoothly.ResponsibilitiesCompetent and licenced to drive a Forklift Truck (FLT) to load/unload goods in and outMaintaining of stock levels in warehouse and storesKeep accurate records of stock movement in and out of storesInform Supply chain and/or Manufacturing Management of any stock items that need reordering, as well as of any new stock that arrives on siteCarry out operations for multiple contracts, including inbound/outbound processes, loading/unloading, stock control, stock rotation, and investigationsCarry out regular stock in intake for MOO (deliveries and put away)Ensure that Supermarket, WIP and other stations are loaded with correct levels of stock on a daily basis and input figures into Netsuite on a monthly basisKeep store map/plan up to dateEnsure FLT and racking safety checks are carried out on a daily basisEnsure FLT is maintained and charged as requiredTo be computer literate enough to carry out your duties Ensure non-production based cardboard/waste bins are emptied on a regular basisWaste pallets to be stacked neatly in the lumber dumpsterMatch P.O.s on file with incoming goodsAttach receipt and BOL with PO and receiving documentsBring any discrepancies to Warehouse Management and Supply ChainAssist with UPS/USPS/DHL outbound pickups by collecting and sorting mailAbout YouThe person we appoint to this role will be enthusiastic, imaginative, optimistic and keen to work as part of a team.
