Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 4 days in office)Industry: AutomotiveCompensation: $210,000 – $255,000Job Category: Human Resources LeadershipAbout The RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of HR Operations to lead enterprise HR infrastructure, systems, and total rewards strategy within a fast-paced automotive organization. This leader will be responsible for scaling HR operations, driving transformation, and ensuring operational excellence across a complex and evolving business environment.This role requires a strong blend of strategic leadership, technical HR expertise, and hands-on operational execution.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and scale HR Operations across the organization with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and scalabilityOversee Total Rewards strategy, including compensation and benefits design and executionDrive HR systems strategy, including HRIS, payroll systems implementation, optimization, and integrationLead HR analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making initiativesEnsure compliance with internal policies, audits, and all applicable employment regulationsPartner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with business growth objectivesBuild, lead, and develop senior-level HR teams in a high-performance cultureChampion HR transformation initiatives in a fast-growing, dynamic environmentRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA strongly preferredMinimum 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with deep subject matter expertise in:Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)HR Systems (HRIS, payroll implementation, and optimization)HR audit, compliance, and operational governanceMinimum 10+ years of HR leadership experience at Director level or aboveProven experience leading HR Operations within fast-paced, high-growth, or transformation-driven environments (automotive or manufacturing strongly preferred)Demonstrated success scaling HR infrastructure in complex organizationsStrong business acumen with the ability to operate strategically while maintaining hands-on executionWork Environment & Location RequirementsMust be based in or willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC metro areaThis is a hybrid role requiring 4 days per week in the office, with 1 remote workday permittedMust be able to work in a collaborative, on-site leadership environmentWhat Makes This Role ExcitingThis is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape and elevate HR Operations across a growing organization, driving transformation in systems, rewards, and people strategy at scale.HRforGrowth® is one of the world’s leading providers of business transformation solutions related to supply chain and technology solutions for order fulfillment and marketing execution.
