Job Description About the PositionWe are looking for a committed and experienced Intensivist to become a part of our Critical Care team. The successful candidate will deliver top-notch, evidence-based treatment to patients in critical condition within our ICU. This role involves close collaboration with a diverse team of nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Main DutiesDeliver thorough critical care management for patients in the ICU.Conduct various ICU procedures, including intubations, central lines, arterial lines, bronchoscopy, and chest tube placements.Engage in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient management strategies.Guide and mentor advanced practice providers and nursing staff as necessary.Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, quality improvement measures, and patient safety initiatives.RequirementsMD or DO degree from a recognized medical institution.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine, preferably through the Internal Medicine pathway.Active or Eligible State Medical License in Texas.Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.Previous experience in an ICU setting is preferred.Compensation and BenefitsOutstanding work-life balance, designed by physicians for physicians.W2 employment opportunity.Competitive compensation and scheduling model.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan with company matching.CME allowance provided.Support for professional development and continuing education.Possibility of J1 waiver sponsorship.About the FacilityOur organization is a medium-sized community hospital that offers extensive specialty support, including Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Interventional Radiology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Urology, and Orthopedics.
