The studio values creativity, innovation, and precision in every project. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer located in Santa Monica, CA. The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design process from concept to completion, focusing on space planning, creating construction drawings, and developing interior design plans. The role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are executed seamlessly, as well as sourcing FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) and overseeing installations. The Senior Interior Designer will also mentor junior team members and contribute to maintaining the studio's high design standards. Qualifications Expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design, with a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.Proficiency in Construction Drawings and Architecture, with a solid understanding of building codes and construction methods.Knowledge of FF&E, including sourcing, selecting, budgeting, and coordinating installations.Strong project management skills and the ability to lead design teams and collaborate with contractors and vendors effectively.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in interior design or architecture.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus.
