DevOps Engineer

Job Title: Entry-Level DevOps ConsultantJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Candidate must be open to relocate.We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level DevOps Consultant with a strong interest in cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure, and software deployment. The ideal candidate will assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud infrastructure, automating operational processes, and improving application deployment and system reliability. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with internship or project experience who are eager to build their careers in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application build, testing, and deployment.Support cloud infrastructure deployment and management using AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams to improve development and deployment processes.Monitor application performance, system availability, and infrastructure health.Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and application-related issues.Assist with containerizing applications using Docker and supporting container orchestration platforms.Implement security best practices across cloud environments and deployment pipelines.Maintain technical documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures.Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and Agile development activities.Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.Required SkillsBasic understanding of DevOps principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.Knowledge of Git and version control systems.Basic understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred SkillsExposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or the ELK Stack.Basic understanding of cloud security, IAM, and access management.Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Exposure to Agile or Scrum development methodologies.Knowledge of serverless technologies and cloud-native application development.Thanks,
