Director of Workforce Partnerships

DescriptionSimpson College is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for the newly created Director of Workforce Partnerships position. As a member of Simpson Online and Graduate Studies, this position will be responsible for cultivating, building, and maintaining relationships with workforce clients to offer Simpson Online and Graduate Studies programs to their employees to strengthen and improve the organization's employee base and to foster opportunities for Simpson student internships and corporate philanthropy through these relationships.Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to meet and foster relationships with businesses and organizations to understand the training needs of their workforce and recruit adult learners from their workforce into Simpson Online programs. Market all programming for Simpson Online and Graduate Studies through the workforce partnership initiative to recruit new students. Support the College Advancement office to coordinate and identify corporate philanthropy opportunities by identifying areas of the Simpson experience that would strategically align with the philanthropic efforts of business partners' objectives. Collaborate with Career Services to connect workforce partners to enhance workforce internships & initiatives at Simpson College.QualificationsQualifications:Education Skills And ExperienceA bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of frontline Business Development or sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the minimum requirements for the position.Must be an action-oriented individual and comfortable taking risks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated capabilities in delivering compelling presentations and proposals. Excellent organizational skills. Exhibit a keen attention to detail, including follow-through and follow-up. Demonstrate an ability to work with diverse, creative personalities. Be able to set and keep to internal deadlines.Have a drive and passion for continuing education and small private colleges. Be a creative thinker and contributor. Have strong self-confidence but also be a team player.
