Job Description Licensed Marriage and Family TherapistThe Correctional LMFT provides mental health services to inmates within a correctional facility. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy to address mental health issues, trauma, and relationship challenges. The therapist works collaboratively with correctional staff to ensure the well-being of inmates and to support their rehabilitation and reintegration into society.Setting: CorrectionalResponsibilities:Conduct clinical assessments and diagnose mental health conditions of inmates.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Provide individual and group therapy sessions to inmates.Monitor inmate progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.Maintain detailed and confidential client records.Collaborate with correctional staff and other healthcare providers.Provide crisis intervention and support within the correctional setting.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case consultations.Other duties as assignedQualifications:Newly licensed are welcome!!Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of CaliforniaMaster's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.Contract Role:Full or Part Time EmploymentPart-time must work 3 days minWeekends are availableFlexible scheduling options are available, allowing for either 8 or 10-hour workdays.If you're interested, please reply to this advertisement or directly email your resume to me at DSalgado@teemagroup.com or by calling/texting (949) 295-5951.I strive to reply within 48 hours.
