Senior Attractions & Arcade Technician (Electrical / Mechanical Lead) Pay: $20$26 per hour (up to $30/hour for highly qualified candidates)Job Type: Full-timeSchedule: Evenings & Weekends required; on-call for critical issues Job OverviewMalibu Jacks Indoor Family Entertainment Center is seeking a Senior Attractions & Arcade Technician to lead hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of arcade games, rides, and attraction systems. This role is designed for a technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills who can accurately diagnose issues, prioritize repairs, and ensure equipment is fixed correctly the first time, while helping guide and support other technicians. Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electrical systems including AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, relays, power supplies, and control components Perform mechanical repairs on attractions, arcade games, and go-kart systems Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement long-term solutions Prioritize repair work based on safety, downtime, and guest impact Guide and support other technicians and verify quality of completed repairs Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and accurate repair documentation Ensure attractions operate safely and meet manufacturer and company standards Respond to urgent equipment issues and on-call emergencies as neededRequired QualificationsStrong electrical troubleshooting experience Solid mechanical repair background Proven ability to diagnose problems rather than replace parts blindly Experience with industrial equipment, amusement rides, arcade systems, or similar machinery Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals Comfortable working independently and making technical decisionsPreferred ExperienceIndustrial or manufacturing maintenance background Automation, controls, or HVAC experience Previous senior or lead technician experience Experience working in high-uptime environmentsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift equipment Comfortable working in an active guest-facing environmentWhy Work at Malibu JacksCompetitive pay compared to local manufacturing roles Hands-on technical work with a wide variety of equipment Leadership responsibility without being stuck behind a desk Year-round indoor work environmentPI719049255c9c-26289-40161633
