Industrial Electrician- 3rd shift (260105)Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking an Industrial Electrician- 3rd shiftfor its plant located in Freeport, ILOur client offers a superior compensation and benefits package.The OpportunityThe Industrial Electrician will test, install, program, assemble, maintain and repair electronic equipment and components of processing operations of the plant.Duties/Responsibilities for theIndustrial ElectricianOperation of electrical test equipment including voltmeter, megger and amprobeTheIndustrial Electrician installs and performs preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on motor control and lighting systems using wiring schematicsTheIndustrial Electrician has control system troubleshooting experience including PLC control using wiring schematicsUnderstand AC motor/VFD theoryThe Industrial Electrician has a basic understanding of NEC codes and NFPA 70E requirementsBasic knowledge of medium voltage (4160VAC) operations and troubleshootingRequirements & Qualifications for theIndustrial ElectricianHigh school or GED3+ years' of Industrial electrical exp w/ electrical control circuitsINDUSTRIAL troubleshooting experience on pneumatic & hydraulic systems
