About the Opportunity:The Senior Project Manager will lead small to medium IT projects that often carry high impact and visibility. This role serves as the central liaison between customer IT and business teams and the organization’s technical, sales, and operational groups. The position balances managing multiple projects or support contracts, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and internal standards. It plays a key role in delivering successful project outcomes and advancing project management practices.3. Responsibilities:• Take ownership of projects to meet or exceed customer expectations while maintaining organizational standards• Manage contracts, addressing scope, budget, and schedule issues; escalate as needed• Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, work breakdown structures, logs, risk matrices, change controls, status reports, budgets, resource plans, and completion reports• Coordinate activities of internal and external technical staff and collaborate with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle• Analyze complex business needs and facilitate stakeholder agreement• Provide routine status updates to customers, management, and partners• Maintain internal business requirements and updates for management and operations• Contribute to the development and enforcement of project management standards and best practices• Travel as required by business needs, currently less than 20% annually• Must be based in the United States4. Requirements:• 5+ years managing projects in IT professional services, IT organizations, or related fields• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Broad understanding of IT organizations and infrastructures preferred• Experience with IT management tools preferred; ServiceNow and Open Air/NetSuite are advantages• PMP certification preferred; Agile/Scrum experience is a plus• Strong written and oral communication skills• Attention to detail and organizational skills• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project; familiarity with other project management tools is a plus• Understanding of contracts and scope management highly preferred; experience writing contracts or change requests is a plus• Documentation, presentation, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration experience highly preferred• Client management and executive leadership experience are advantages• Bachelor’s degree highly preferred; business degree is a plus5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• The base salary range in New York City for this position is $90,000-95,000, plus opportunities for bonus and/or commission. Compensation may vary by location.6.
