Job DetailsDescriptionRecord-keeping; Processes payments, invoices and renewal notices in the Wellness Center membership system. Audits and assists with the maintenance and disposition of paper charts for rehab patients. Performs audits in Technogym system for completeness and accuracy, oversees membership paperwork maintained in Technogym system, deposits Wellness Center money to the hospital cashier; posts and checks departmental charges. Responsible for invoicing for Wellness Services and billing and tracking Medicare reimbursement program payments and members. Performs administrative functions for the Wellness Center Director and Wellness Coordinator to relieve him/her of routine clerical tasks (e.g. preparation of reports, data tracking, flyers, signage, etc.). Assist with marketing of departmental programs and paperwork needed to execute program. Greets and directs members, potential clients and patients, and visitors to the Wellness Center; assists in the scheduling of appointments for various departmental procedures for clients and provides the client with the appropriate paperwork; assists with transportation arrangements for clients as needed. Able to retrieve patient information from Epic. Coordinates department functions using critical thinking skills. Assists with employee wellness program (WOW) and coordination of events such as biometric screenings. Supports the timekeeping system, inputs departmental payroll and tracks relevant paperwork. Enters department schedule into Technogym and assists the Wellness Center Director with department scheduling. Types routine technical and/or confidential material and/or documents (e.g. annual reports, forms and documents, departmental agenda/meeting minutes); assists with updates and maintains department personnel policy manual in MSN system; enters employee information into the keyless entry system and is able to generate reports and audits of the system, assists with departmental quality improvement processes. Answers routine inquiries in person or on telephone; assists with inventory, ordering and restocking department supplies, copies, and handouts; oversees the amount and appropriateness of supplies and equipment for department use. Coordinates volunteer scheduling under the direction of the Director.RequirementsCompletion of Associates degree plus two (2) year experience or BA/ BS degree; proven experience with Word and Excel, satisfactory completion of BLS within 60 days of hire. Obtain American Heart Association BLS certification within 60 days of hire and maintains continuous certification.
