With projects ranging from municipal infrastructure and utility operations to land development and community growth, we are committed to building better communities, one project at a time.Position OverviewThe Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting and leading diverse infrastructure and development initiatives. This position requires a versatile professional who can adapt across multiple disciplines — while supporting a variety of land development project types, and providing technical expertise, project coordination, and strong client communication.The ideal candidate is resourceful, driven, and people-oriented, with a natural ability to problem-solve, manage complexity, and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including municipal leaders, utilities, developers, and contractors.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform conceptual land planning using AutoCAD and other designReview and evaluate development plans, identifying QA/QC needs and cost-savingCoordinate with utilities, municipal staff, subcontractors, and consultants across multiple project phases.Manage subcontractors on small projects, preparing bid/quote packages whenConduct due diligence for real estate projects, including environmental, easement, and utility evaluations.Review engineering and construction documents with a focus on valueProvide professional communication and reporting to elected officials, boards, and community stakeholders.Apply working knowledge of procurement methods (e.g., Public-Private Partnerships, Design-Build, Build-Operate-Transfer).Assist in preparing quotes, bids, grant application support, and progress reports for municipal projects.Provide technical and administrative support with minimalTroubleshoot operational and project challenges, offering practicalQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Land Surveying, Urban Planning, or a related field; advanced credentials such as Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Surveyor (PS) preferred.5+ years of experience in land development, municipal engineering, or relatedStrong knowledge of infrastructure design, utilities, and constructionProficiency with AutoCAD or similar designDemonstrated ability to review technical documents and provide QA/QCStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to interface with municipal officials, developers, and community members.Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently with minimalIdeal Candidate TraitsA “jack-of-all-trades” professional with broad technical exposure and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.Naturally humble, driven, and people-Collaborative and solutions-oriented with the ability to balance technical expertise and client service.Communication focusedWhy Join DC Develop?Opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects shaping communities across Indiana, Kentucky, and beyond.A collaborative team culture that values innovation, problem-solving, and professionalCompetitive compensation and benefits aligned with401k Retirement Plan – Company match up to 6%Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance – Company Provided, Eligible after 60 daysSalary Range for this role anticipated between $80,000 to $120,0003 Weeks of Vacation, Eligible after 60 days9 Paid HolidaysIf interested in this opportunity, please send a resume and email/cover letter to mandy@dcdevelopco.com for consideration.OR, you can simply APPLY NOW
