Customer Service Representative

SUMMARYProvide a variety of customer related services through telephone and fax contact including inquiries, orders, order entry, pricing, scheduling, delivery and disposition of customer complaints and questions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCommunicate with customers regarding pricing, inventory, scheduling, shipment and expediting information and process orders in computer systemInteract with Argon warehouses regarding shipping and expediting of ordersProvide technical support for customers as neededResolve customer questions, complaints and requestsAdjust complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints to designated departments for investigationInteract with other departments on a variety of issues. Provide assistance to Sales Representatives. Participate in training newly hired Customer Service RepresentativesOperate a personal computer and appropriate software packages. Follow all safety procedures. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED equivalent Experience with Argon products preferredQUALIFICATIONSBasic Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be self-directed while performing daily duties Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision and make responsible decisions in a fast-paced environmentDue to the business necessity of communication, safety and production, candidates must be able to speak, read and write English
