He or sheis responsible for assembling products, handling products, equipment andmaterials per the Production Department and company\'s quality systemprocedures.Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following. Otherduties may be assigned.Measures parts to determine specified tolerance.Drills and spotfaces bolt holes in parts.Positions and aligns parts.Bolts, screws, and rivets parts together.Disassembles and replaces parts as required.Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies.Marks identifying information on parts.This job has no supervisory responsibilities.**Qualifications**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performEach Essential Duty Satisfactorily. Ability to print and speak simple sentencesin English.**Mathematical Skills**Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and dividewith 10\'s and 100\'s.**Reasoning Ability**Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed butuninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problemsinvolving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.**Other Skills and Abilities**Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meetspecifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units toassemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.Attach name plates and mark identifying information on parts.Read blueprints and specifications to determine component parts andassembly sequences of units.Disassemble units to replace parts or to crate them for shipping.Measure parts to determine tolerances, using precision measuringinstruments such as micrometers, and calipers.Clean and lubricate parts and subassemblies, using grease paddles oroilcans.Drill and spot-face bolt holes in parts, using drill presses andportable power drills.**Other Qualifications**Must be able to work overtime on a routine basis.**Physical Demands**The physical demands described here are representative of those thatmust be met by an employee to successfully perform the essentialfunctions of this job.
