Senior Information Technology Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale, strategic supply chain technology initiatives that support our complex, multi-channel retail and fulfillment operations. This is a hybrid role with 2-3days/week on site in Greater Portland.This role will initially focus on a major upgrade of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enable new operational capabilities across our distribution network. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing enterprise supply chain technology programs, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.You’ll work across business, IT, and vendor teams while overseeing multi-million-dollar programs that have significant impact on company operations and customer experience.What You’ll DoLead Enterprise Supply Chain ProgramsManage complex, cross-functional supply chain and fulfillment system initiatives from planning through implementationLead strategic, multi-year programs with significant business impact and executive visibilityOversee internal teams, vendor partners, and external project managersDrive successful delivery of projects on scope, on schedule, and within budgetProgram & Project ManagementBuild and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structuresManage project governance, milestones, risks, dependencies, and change control processesCoordinate resources and staffing plans across multiple teamsUse tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, and SharePoint to manage delivery executionNegotiate priorities and resolve competing demands to maintain project momentumTeam & Stakeholder LeadershipAlign business, IT, and vendor teams around goals, timelines, and success metricsFacilitate decision-making and accountability across stakeholders and governance groupsProvide clear executive-level communication, project updates, and presentationsLead organizational change management efforts to support adoption and minimize disruptionMentor and coach project managers and team members on project management best practicesBudget, Risk & Vendor ManagementManage large program budgets, forecasts, and financial trackingMonitor project spend and communicate budget variances proactivelyIdentify and mitigate project risks across scope, schedule, quality, and costManage vendor relationships, deliverables, staffing, invoices, and contract coordinationWhat We’re Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technology projects or programsStrong experience with supply chain systems and fulfillment operationsExperience implementing or upgrading Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Proven ability to manage large budgets, multiple stakeholders, and enterprise-scale initiativesExcellent communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skillsStrong negotiation, decision-making, and influencing capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsAgile project management experience and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)PMP or other project management certificationManhattan Active or Manhattan WMS experienceExperience leading large-scale supply chain transformation initiativesProSearch, Inc. was established in Portland, Maine, in 1994 to provide companies with a full range of search, staffing and contracting services, specializing in the functional areas of information technology, accounting and finance, sales and marketing, customer service, human resources, and office support utilizing a consultative approach.
