We are fanatical supporters of the non-profit organizations that create the fabric of the communities we call home.POSITION PURPOSEThe Outbound Relationship Specialist is responsible for proactively reaching out to current and prospective members to enhance their financial well-being through tailored product recommendations and exceptional service. This role plays a critical part in deepening member relationships, driving growth through outbound sales initiatives, and ensuring a positive member experience in alignment with the Credit Union’s strategic objectives and core values. Sales experience needed. Central Willamette Credit Union will match your contributions dollar for dollar up to the first 3% of your gross salary, and 50% of the next 2% of your gross salary Remote work possible after initial in person trainingMonthly incentive bonuses up to $2500 a month!Essential Functions And ResponsibilitiesOutbound Member Engagement (60%)Conduct proactive outreach to members and prospects via phone, email, and other channels to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate products and servicesBuild genuine, trusting relationships with members to understand their goals and provide personalized financial solutionsEducate members on the full range of Central Willamette’s products and services, ensuring they are leveraging the options that best suit their needsProactively seek opportunities to cross-sell or upsell products and services to existing membersTrack and report sales activities and outcomes to ensure accountability and pipeline visibilityMeet or exceed established sales goals and performance metricsRelationship Building & Cross-Sell Strategy (25%)Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls, leads, and outcomes using various recordkeeping systemsFollow up on leads generated through proactive member engagement, referrals, or inbound requests to identify financial needs and recommend appropriate products and servicesCollaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless member service and product fulfillmentSupport targeted sales campaigns and outreach efforts based on marketing strategiesUse data analytics and member profiles to segment and prioritize outreach listsRecommend enhancements to campaign scripts and outreach strategies based on feedbackGeneral (15%)Maintain comprehensive knowledge of area of responsibility, all Credit Union products, and services, and the relevant legal, regulatory, and compliance issuesEnsures area of responsibility are performed in accordance with Central Willamette Values, compliance, regulatory, policy and proceduresSupports intra – and interdepartmental workflow by providing information to and cooperating with colleagues across the organizationPerforms additional duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 1–2 years of sales, call center, or financial services experience Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Must demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal Must demonstrate strong presentation, organization, and planning skills Working knowledge of current State, Federal, and other regulations applicable to credit union operations Must be fully PC literate and have an excellent understanding of technology as a management tool Valid driver’s license and automotive insurance required Must be bondablePhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
