Programmatic Media TraderOur client is a healthcare organization seeking an experienced Programmatic Media Trader to support the planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of programmatic advertising campaigns. This individual will serve as both a strategic advisor and hands-on practitioner, helping guide media investment decisions while managing day-to-day campaign operations across DSP platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep programmatic expertise and can seamlessly shift between strategic planning and hands-on campaign execution.Duration: 6-month freelance assignment with potential for extensionLocation: Fully remoteHours: 20-40 hours per week, based on campaign volume and business needsStart Date: October 2026Equipment: Must provide your own laptopResponsibilities Develop and execute programmatic media strategies across DSP platformsBuild, launch, manage, and optimize programmatic advertising campaigns to meet performance goalsRecommend audience targeting, channel mix, budget allocation, bidding strategies, and optimization approachesMonitor campaign performance, pacing, and delivery while making real-time adjustments to improve resultsAnalyze campaign data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholdersCreate and maintain campaign reports and dashboards that clearly communicate performanceAssist with forecasting, media planning, and budget managementPresent campaign results and strategic recommendations to internal teamsPartner with DSP vendors and media partners to identify opportunities and efficienciesStay current on emerging technologies, platforms, and industry trends within the programmatic advertising spaceQualifications 5+ years of experience in programmatic media buying, trading, and optimizationHands-on experience managing campaigns within one or more DSP platformsStrong understanding of audience targeting, bidding strategies, pacing, attribution, and campaign measurementExperience planning and managing media budgetsProven ability to independently manage campaigns from strategy through reportingStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working independently in a remote environmentPreferred QualificationsDirect experience with Viant DSPExperience with additional platforms such as The Trade Desk, DV360, StackAdapt, Amazon DSP, Yahoo DSP, or similar DSPsEstablished relationships with media vendors and platform partnersHealthcare marketing experience is a plusThe ideal candidate is a strong negotiator, highly analytical, results-driven, and comfortable balancing strategic recommendations with day-to-day campaign execution.
