We provide personalized, non-medical in-home care through our private-pay caregiver matching service - connecting families with vetted, compassionate caregivers who are the right fit for their loved one.We're not a massive agency rotating strangers. We match caregivers to clients based on skills, personality, language, and schedule - because care should feel personal.The RoleWe're looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one non-medical care to clients in their homes. You'll work directly with families who are paying privately for quality in-home support for their aging parents, spouses, or loved ones with disabilities. This is a mobile/in-home care position. Caregivers report directly to client homes across Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties.This is meaningful, relationship-based work - not a revolving door of 30-minute visits.What You'll DoAssist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility/transfersPrepare meals and provide medication reminders (non-medical)Provide companionship and cognitive/memory engagementPerform light housekeeping and laundryProvide transportation to appointments and errandsMonitor and report changes in client condition to the care coordinatorMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environmentCommunicate regularly with the client's family and our care teamWhat We're Looking ForRequired:Must be 18 years or olderLegally authorized to work in the United StatesValid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a criminal background checkAbility to lift and transfer clients (up to 50 lbs)Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or personal/family caregiving)Strong communication skills and a genuine compassion for helping othersPreferred (not required):RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, PCA, or other caregiving certificationCPR / First Aid certificationExperience with Alzheimer's/dementia care, post-surgery recovery, or hospice/palliative careBilingual - English/Arabic, English/Spanish, or other languages (we serve diverse communities)Experience with Hoyer lifts, mobility equipment, or medical devicesAvailability for live-in, overnight, or weekend shiftsWhy Tohme HomeCarePersonalized client matching - we pair you with clients that fit your skills, schedule, and personality, not just whoever's next on a listOne-on-one care - build real relationships with your clients instead of rushing between 6 stops a dayFlexible scheduling - choose shifts that work for your life (days, evenings, weekends, overnights, PRN)Competitive pay - $15–$45/hr based on experience, certifications, and client needsSupportive team - our care coordinators are always available to help you succeedServing your community - Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties
