Senior Business Development Manager-Midstream Stabilization Solutions

Job Description Position Summary Pioneer Energy is seeking an experienced sales professional to support growth of the company's modular hydrocarbon processing and stabilization solutions across the oil and gas midstream sector. This position reports directly to the VP of Business Development and focuses on identifying, developing, and advancing opportunities in crude and NGL stabilization and blending. The ideal candidate possesses deep familiarity with midstream operations, crude and gas processing, crude handling infrastructure, and hydrocarbon processing systems, along with an established network of industry relationships. This is a consultative, technically sophisticated sales role requiring the ability to engage stakeholders at the executive, operations, engineering, and commercial levels. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with midstream operators, gas processors, EPC firms, blending facilities, loading terminals and engineering organizationsIdentify brownfield facility opportunities involving stabilization, vapor pressure management, blending, hydrocarbon recovery, and throughput optimizationWork collaboratively with Pioneer engineering and technical teams to develop customer solutionsLead technical and commercial discussions with customer engineering and operations personnelIdentify operational pain points and position Pioneer's modular technologies as value-enhancing solutionsSupport development of project economics and customer value propositionsManage opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting through commercial negotiationCoordinate customer site visits, technical reviews, and commercial presentationsRepresent Pioneer Energy at industry conferences, trade events, and customer meetingsMaintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting Required Qualifications7+ years of commercial experience in midstream oil and gas, hydrocarbon processing, or related energy infrastructure sectorsDemonstrated business development or technical sales experienceStrong understanding of:Hydrocarbons pricing and marketingGas processingCrude stabilizationBlending strategiesCompression and/or hydrocarbon processing equipmentBrownfield facility operationsFluent in crude, NGLs and gas assay and composition informationFluent in crude, NGLs and gas pricing and tradingExisting industry relationships within midstream operations and eng. organizationsAbility to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholdersWillingness to travel frequently Desired Personal CharacteristicsStrong interpersonal skillsConsultative and relationship-drivenSelf-directed and entrepreneurialTechnically credibleComfortable in complex techno economical discussionsStrong commercial instinctsCapable of developing opportunities independentlyPractical understanding of field operations and project execution LocationHouston, Texas or Denver, Colorado Travel· Frequent travel expected.Company DescriptionPioneer Energy is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) that designs and builds innovative, cloud-enabled technologies to help energy producers reduce emissions while meeting production goals.Our proprietary systems process wellhead fluids more efficiently, stabilize crude oil to meet GOR and RVP targets, and condition gas streams for in-field use.
