SUMMARYOur client, a global investment management firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Sr Manager in LA or NY to lead our global Business Analyst team across Santa Monica, New York, and London. This role will directly manage a high-performing team of analysts who operate at the intersection of real estate, technology, and data. The ideal candidate is a player/coach—equally comfortable guiding strategy and mentoring talent as they are being hands on to drive day-to-day execution.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTeam LeadershipManage, mentor, and develop a geographically distributed team of Business Analysts.Foster collaboration across the US, EU, and Asia-focused teams while aligning on goals, deliverables, and performance OversightEnsure project alignment with departmental strategy, business goals, and data governance standards.Standardize best practices across regions to maintain delivery excellence.Hands-On ExecutionActively engage in day-to-day delivery of projects—gathering requirements, building reports, and developing automations alongside the team.Translate complex business needs into functional and technical and redesign workflows to drive efficiency and remove manual processes.Technical EnablementOversee and contribute to data modeling, API integration planning, process mapping, and system design.Ensure consistency in data definitions, reporting logic, and architectural standards across the team’s outputs.Act as a subject matter expert in areas such as SQL, DAX, Power Query, REST APIs, and business intelligence tooling.Project Management & Change EnablementLead cross-functional project planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.QUALIFICATIONS7+ years of relevant experience within commercial real experience managing and mentoring teams in a collaborative, high-impact environment.Demonstrated ability to lead projects across time zones and cultures.Proficient in process mapping, workflow automation, data modeling, and BI development.TECHNICAL SKILLSPower BI, DAX, Power QueryPower Automate or other RPA platformsSQL, REST API integrationProcess mapping tools (Miro, Lucidchart, Visio)EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, information systems, or related field required.CPA, CFA, CCIM, or relevant certifications are advantageous.Technical certifications in BI, RPA, or data platforms preferred.
