CPG Associate Controller or Controller

About the role:Confido is building an AI-native operating system for brands that sell into brick-and-mortar retail. We’re building intuitive and powerful software paired with AI agents that help brands automate the 1000s of hours of tedious manual work that goes into scaling a brand in retail. Brands like Baskin Robbins and Olipop use our first products in accounting and planning to account for and plan for $Bs of retail revenue.We have millions of ARR, best-in-class growth, and best in class efficiency. We’ve recently raised an unannounced funding round to build on the existing momentum.You will be on our Business Operations team and report to the Head of Business Operations.What You'll Do:Leverage deep technical & CPG industry knowledge to provide strategic guidance and support to existing customers, ensuring successful adoption and optimization of our software solutionsPartner with product development team to identify, prioritize, and define new software features based on CPG industry needs, market gaps, and client feedbackServe as a primary Accounting & CPG subject matter expert, translating complex business processes (cash application, deductions management, period close) into clear product requirements and user storiesBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at leading CPG companies, acting as trusted advisor on business process optimization and technology solutionsDrive client success initiatives including implementation support, training, and ongoing consultation to maximize software ROI and strengthen customer retentionAbout You:5+ years in Consumer Packaged Goods with demonstrated expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Accounting, A/R Accounting, Trade ManagementPassion for being at the technology leading edge, driving automation and optimization of core CPG functions through innovative software solutionsTrade accounting experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of complex deductions management workflowsStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting principlesYou’re both competitive and kindWillingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a weekCompensation:Base Salary: $155K - $195KEquity: 0.15%-0.25%About Confido:Confido is a next-generation financial automation and intelligence platform that helps fast-growing CPG brands operate and scale more efficiently.
