Tutors work closely with small groups of students in Math, using provided curriculum and lesson plans to build academic skills, confidence, and engagement. This role is a strong fit for dependable, relationship-driven individuals who are passionate about educational equity, communicate proactively, and are comfortable working as part of a school-based team. Ideal for recent graduates, college students, or aspiring educators seeking hands-on experience in teaching, mentorship, or youth development.JOB SUMMARYAs an in-person tutor with GO Tutor Corps, you will play a critical role in supporting students’ academic success by providing targeted, small-group instruction in Math. While this is a part-time position, tutors are embedded within school communities and contribute meaningfully to students’ daily learning experiences.We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable tutors who are passionate about educational equity and eager to make a measurable difference in students' academic achievement. Ideal candidates are skilled at building relationships, adapting to different learning styles, and engaging students in-person through thoughtful, culturally responsive instruction.Tutors typically work with 3-4 students per session in a supportive environment, helping to drive gains in core academic areas while fostering student confidence and connection. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in education, mentorship, or youth development — especially recent graduates or those exploring a path in teaching.Tutors must be able to fully commit to one of the school schedules listed above.
